Worship
Join us on Sundays at 11:00 AM!
Getting Here

You'll find us just off on the northbound side of 29 (Monacan Trail Rd) on Covesville Lane.
From Charlottesville: Take 29 south past the I-64 interchange for a little over 14 miles. When you pass the Covesville antique store, you're 0.5 miles away from the church! Turn left off 29, and left again onto Covesville Lane.
From Nelson County: Take 29 north into Albemarle County. Just over two miles into the county, you'll find us on the right. (We're just around a bend!)
Though we have a small parking lot, plenty of parking is available around the church. People with accessibility or lower mobility needs can park along our driveway (yellow). Those who are more mobile are encouraged to park along Covesville Lane (pink). Overflow parking is also available on the grass by our brick sign (blue).
What to Expect
What are your worship services like?
Our services generally follow a pattern outlined in the Presbyterian Book of Common Worship. Sunday morning worship services run approximately one hour and includes meaningful liturgy, scripture, sermon, and music designed to feed the soul. Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month and on other holy days.
Are children welcome at Cove?
Yes! We love kids' wiggles and noises! Children of all ages are welcome to worship with us.
What's the dress code?
Come as you are! We are a pretty casual bunch, but you'll find a few folks wearing their "Sunday best," too.
I identify as LGBTQIA+. Am I supported here?
Yes. You are welcomed and affirmed. Cove Presbyterian Church is committed to fostering an environment that celebrates people of all ages, stages, and identities - including those who identify as a part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
